Viareggio is the heart of Versilia, enclosed between the spectacular Apuan Alps and the sea, the city boast a wide and spacious shore with several km of beaches with soft, golden sand.

Besides the beach there are indeed two big green areas, the Eastern Pineforest and the Western Pineforest, which are ideal to do sports outdoor, trips by foot or by bike.

Viareggio is the ideal starting point even to visit some of the most beautiful art cities of Tuscany, as Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi.
